Timer and its functions

The timer is a great addition to the app, designed to help you stay focused or bring a calming touch to your tasks. Whether you're aiming to work more efficiently or create a mindful break in your day, this feature has you covered.

In this article, we’ll walk you through how to set the timer and make the most of it.

 

Open the Today or Habits screens of the app, pull it down to choose a habit or create your own.

On the Habit screen scroll down to the Goal section and tap on the Timer tab.

When the timer is set, complete other necessary steps, tap Save in the top-right corner.

The habit will appear on the main screen at the end of the list. The habits with a timer will have a corresponding icon with the time set.

To activate the timer, do what you usually do to mark a habit as done (swipe right), only this time tap the timer button.

You will be transferred to the timer screen. Here, the habit is to “Focus with Pomodoro” and the timer is set to 25 minutes. To activate it, tap Start.

Once the timer is activated, there are 3 options available to a user:

  • Pause the timer;
  • Restart the timer;
  • Close the timer.

*Note: Please be advised that when you reopen it, you will have to start from the beginning.
